Who this is for

Tab audio, not screen recording

Only the audio of the tab you choose is shared; the video stays where it is. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored.

Scenes that match the genre

Chill mood for lo-fi and ambient streams, Signature for most music, Hype for electronic drops. Or pick a scene by hand: Deep Sonar for rhythm, Aurora for pads, Arc Storm for percussive tracks.

Galaxy for the big screen

Galaxy’s 3D scenes — the black hole, the spectrum sea, the nebula — read beautifully on a TV or projector.

How to do it

  1. Play a video on YouTube
  2. Open BLOOB → Visualize a Tab
  3. Select the YouTube tab, tick “Share tab audio”
  4. Fullscreen with F, hide the UI with H

Questions people ask about youtube music visualizer

Is this allowed?

Visualising audio locally for your own viewing is fine. Publishing recordings of copyrighted music is a separate matter — use your own tracks for exports.

Is there latency?

Tab audio adds a few milliseconds; the beat lead compensates. If visuals feel late, nudge Beat sync under Scene.

Can I do this on a phone?

Tab capture is desktop-only. On phones, play through a speaker and use the microphone.

Does it need an extension?

No. It uses the browser’s built-in screen-share API for audio only.

Free forever — help keep it that way. There is no paywall, no watermark and no ad. Support pays the hosting and the phone-remote relay servers and funds new scenes. ♥ Support BLOOB & Galaxy What it funds
