What Resolume does that this does not
Clip decks and layer compositing, projection mapping, timeline and SMPTE sync, NDI, Syphon and Spout routing, effect chains over arbitrary media. If you need any of that, buy Resolume — this is not a replacement for a full rig, and pretending otherwise would waste your evening.

Twenty beat-locked generative scenes in BLOOB and twenty-seven in Galaxy, live audio from a microphone, an interface or a browser tab, mood and palette control, Auto Cycle, and blackout plus a momentary hype hit from your phone over a QR-paired remote. MIDI learn binds any CC on your controller to any slider: arm Learn, move the knob, move the slider, done.
It runs on the machine you already have
A browser tab. No licence key, no dongle, nothing installed on a venue laptop, and no update that locks you out an hour before doors. Auto-performance lowers preview resolution before scene detail if the machine struggles, so it degrades gracefully instead of stuttering.
How to do it
- Open BLOOB on the machine feeding the screen
- Choose an input: microphone, audio interface, or a shared browser tab
- Open Tune → MIDI, press Learn and bind your controller’s knobs to the sliders you care about
- Press H, go fullscreen, and drive it from your phone with Remote Director

Can I play my own video clips?
You can set a looping video or image as a scene background, but there is no clip deck and no layer compositor.
Is there projection mapping?
No. The output is a single full-frame canvas.
