Who this is for

Any input the browser can hear

Choose Mic / instrument and pick your interface as the input device in the browser prompt. Echo cancellation and noise suppression are switched off so transients stay sharp.

Self-calibrating

The noise floor is learned from your setup in a couple of seconds, so a quiet room does not trigger beats and a loud amp does not blow out the picture.

Pick a scene that fits the instrument

Oscilloscope and Phase Scope show the waveform of a guitar or synth, Spectrum Bars and Radial show harmonics, Deep Sonar shows your timing in the bar.

How to do it

  1. Open BLOOB and click “Mic / instrument”
  2. Allow microphone access and choose your interface if asked
  3. Play — pick a scene with ← →
  4. Record if you want a clip
