Who this is for

Phosphor persistence

The Oscilloscope scene keeps the last few traces and fades them like a real tube, with a graticule and a bezel. The electron-beam head races along the trace on the kick.

Phase Scope

A vectorscope plots the signal against a delayed copy: silence is a dot, a tone a loop, bass big slow loops, treble fine wiggle. Kicks swell it, snares shear it, hats spray sparks.

Waveform Tunnel

Rings cut from the waveform recede into a wireframe tube; the bass steers the flight path.

Questions people ask about oscilloscope music visualizer

Is it a true XY scope?

It plots the mono signal against a phase-shifted copy, which gives Lissajous figures for tonal material. Stereo XY needs a stereo analyser, which is on the roadmap.

Can I slow it down?

Turn Auto-Director off and lower Sensitivity under Mix to calm the trace.

Does it work with a microphone?

Yes, and an instrument through an interface works too.

Can I export it?

Yes, the same MP4/WebM export applies to every scene.
