Who this is for

Chrome-free URL for OBS

Add ?obs=1 to the app URL and the interface disappears and the cursor hides. Use ?scene=N and ?palette=name to preset a look, or copy an embed link with your exact settings.

Audio into the source

OBS browser sources cannot hear your desktop directly; open the app in a normal Chrome window with tab audio or mic input and capture that window, or use a virtual audio cable into the microphone input.

Transparent-ish overlays

Pick the Pure Black background and blend the source with the Screen blend mode in OBS for an overlay that only adds light.

How to do it

  1. Open the app in Chrome with ?obs=1
  2. Choose Mic Input (or a virtual cable)
  3. In OBS, add a Window Capture of that Chrome window
  4. Set blend mode to Screen for an overlay

Questions people ask about music visualizer for obs

Why not a browser source directly?

You can, but browser sources have no audio input; the mic route needs a real window. Window capture is the most reliable.

Does it affect stream performance?

It uses the GPU lightly; auto performance keeps it under control. Lower quality in Galaxy if needed.

Can it show the song title?

Yes — the title overlay is editable, or load lyrics.

Is there an alpha channel?

Not natively; use Screen blend with a black background.

Free forever — help keep it that way. There is no paywall, no watermark and no ad. Support pays the hosting and the phone-remote relay servers and funds new scenes. ♥ Support BLOOB & Galaxy What it funds
